Middle School Language Arts: Grades 6-8

Service Description

Course Description: In this course, we will prepare students for reading and writing at the middle school level, with the objectives of improving reading comprehension skills, developing writing skills (such as grammar, punctuation and sentence structure) and collectively fostering a love for reading, writing and learning through creative thinking and expression. The first half of the course will focus on uplifting reading comprehension skills and vocabulary. The second half of this course will focus on writing, and having students apply the conventions to which they were introduced in the earlier classes. These 12 classes will be broken into 3 sections: Vocabulary, Reading, and Writing.
