Service Description

Will 老师毕业于 普林斯顿大学,主修英语,辅修环境研究与创意写作。在校期间,他积极参与学术指导和创意写作实践,为低年级学生辅导文学和文化分析论文,尤其有辅导 HUM Sequence 项目的经验。他还参与普林斯顿创意写作工作坊,接受严格的文本分析、同伴互评和教师指导训练,这些经验直接影响了他现今的教学方法。 Will 老师在校园中也展现出卓越的领导力,曾担任男子足球俱乐部队长,以及半职业阿卡贝拉团体 Footnotes 的负责人。他还获得多项研究奖学金,进行跨学科文学与环境研究。 毕业后,Will 老师曾在 LitCharts 工作,帮助各年龄段学生深入理解复杂文学文本,并担任大学申请顾问,指导学生学术定位、学校选择及个人陈述和附加作文写作。曾辅导的学生成功进入多所顶尖文理学院。 现居 波士顿,Will 老师在英文阅读与写作课程中,注重培养学生的阅读理解、批判性思维和写作表达能力,帮助学生打下坚实的学术基础,同时提升写作自信和创意思维。 Mr. Will graduated from Princeton University with a major in English and minors in Environmental Studies and Creative Writing. During his time at Princeton, he tutored younger students in literary and cultural analysis essays, including work with the renowned HUM Sequence program, and participated extensively in creative writing workshops emphasizing close reading, peer feedback, and faculty mentorship. These experiences continue to shape his student-centered teaching approach today. Mr. Will also demonstrated leadership on campus, serving as captain of the Men’s Club Soccer team and as a leader in the semi-professional a cappella group Footnotes. He received multiple research grants to pursue interdisciplinary projects combining literature and environmental studies. After graduation, Mr. Will worked at LitCharts, helping students of all ages engage deeply with complex literary texts. He has also guided students through the college application process, including academic positioning, school selection, and personal statement and supplemental essay development, helping students gain admission to top liberal arts colleges. Based in Boston, Mr. Will teaches English Reading & Writing (Language Arts) with a focus on developing reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing skills. His courses aim to build a strong academic foundation while fostering creativity and confidence in student writing.
