AP Microeconomics Course Duration: September – First Week of May Schedule: 1.5 hours per week Holidays: No classes during designated holidays Course Description: This year-long AP Microeconomics course covers essential topics including supply and demand, elasticity, consumer and producer behavior, production costs, market structures, factor markets, and market failure. The course emphasizes understanding and applying economic graphs and models while developing strong economic reasoning skills. Students will practice applying concepts to different scenarios and strengthen their graph analysis and FRQ skills. The final stage of the course focuses on connecting key concepts, reviewing important graphs and models, completing comprehensive exercises and mock exams, and analyzing common mistakes. Course Goals: Establish a strong foundation in microeconomics, improve economic reasoning and graph-analysis skills, and systematically prepare for the AP Microeconomics exam.
