COURSE SCHEDULE Course Period: September 13, 2026–April 30, 2027 Total Sessions: 24 Class Length: 1.5 hours per session Total Instructional Time: 36 hours Holiday Schedule: No classes will be held during designated holidays. 2027 AP Chemistry Exam Date: May 6, 2027 COURSE OVERVIEW AP Chemistry is an introductory college-level chemistry course covering atomic structure, molecular interactions, chemical reactions, kinetics, thermodynamics, equilibrium, acids and bases, and electrochemistry. Following the latest College Board curriculum and exam framework, this course helps students develop a systematic understanding of chemical principles. It also emphasizes quantitative problem-solving, experimental design, data analysis, model interpretation, and scientific argumentation. COURSE HIGHLIGHTS Instruction aligned with the College Board’s nine AP Chemistry units Systematic lessons covering concepts, calculations, and applications Emphasis on experimental design and data analysis Practice connecting observations, molecular models, and chemical equations AP-style multiple-choice and FRQ strategies Periodic assessments to identify and address learning gaps Targeted review based on each student’s progress Comprehensive practice and mock exams WHO SHOULD ENROLL? This course is suitable for students who: Are self-studying for the AP Chemistry exam Are currently taking AP Chemistry at school Would like to study AP Chemistry in advance Need to strengthen their chemistry knowledge or quantitative skills Want additional support with FRQs, laboratory analysis, or time management Are working toward a strong AP Chemistry exam score LEARNING OUTCOMES Through systematic study from September until the AP exam, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of AP Chemistry, strengthen their quantitative problem-solving and scientific reasoning skills, and build a solid foundation for future college-level science courses.
